Wolfson was hired by celebrities for various reasons, such as the time Tom Arnold wanted to know who was selling his lover letters to Roseanna Barr to the National Enquirer. In "Secrets of a Hollywood Private Eye," Wolfson reveals how he solved this case.

Wolfson also reveals his involvement in the Groucho Marx-Erin Fleming case, and the abuse the famous comedian endured towards the end of his life. The investigator also recalls a case where he was hired by a jealous husband who was convinced his wife was cheating on him with the wife's trainer.
