Phenomenal Book! Superb Narration!

Wonderful & intriguing story, written well. Couldn't stop listening. One of those I just naturally binged listened to, without a single regret.
Narration was phenomenal. Not only completely articulate, but suited the subject matter perfectly.
I 100% recommend this one! Great listen & enlightening.

Amazing read

It’s a great story that keeps you entertained the whole way through. Cox has lived a very interesting life and is a great storyteller. Someone who has been #1 most wanted by the fbi and pulled over by law enforcement with no troubles other then a speeding ticket. One of my favorite audibles!

Very exciting

Matt has a crazy story. The book is a good listen, but it needs to be re-done. Turn it into a radio lab type thing. Check it out. it’s worth the $15

Great story & Narrator

I’ve been a mortgage loan officer since 1994. Most of our annual required continuing education deals with mortgage fraud and what will happen to us if we commit it. I had no idea how it was actually done until now. I’m glad I don’t have a greedy criminal mind!

Great read

Saw Matt on KONCRETE podcast, so I had an idea of his life. Book was very detailed and so are his crime podcasts like “bent”. I recommend this book

Well-narrated and written

Overall, this was a great listen. It did get a little in the weeds and repetitive regarding the super specific details of his grifts and felt a little braggadocios at times but that was his personality.

Funny and Brutally Honest

I loved this book. I first became aware of Matt when he was on the Koncrete podcast. Ever since I’ve been following Matt’s YouTube channel, inside true crime. He is a great storyteller, and I’m looking forward to reading his books he has written for other people he met along the way.

Deviously spellbinding...

This was a well-written and compelling account of a housing and financing scam. It sucked me in from the start and left me shaking my head by the end. Cringe worthy throughout, it was a deviously planned scheme that bilked the system for millions and left hundreds of people in its wake. The writing was fantastic. I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys listening to true crime.

You will be hooked!

I originally stumbled across Matt cox after he did his first podcast in n Koncrete. I never thought that months later I would still be hooked on this mans story. This book was great because Matt went into all the details that had to be left out of the podcast. Like the Koncrete podcast I can only in shine I will listen to this book over and over until i know it word for word. Thangs again Matt for your great work!

Awesome! Matt Cox is a fascinating human having led a roller coaster life.

I loved hearing the intimate details of Matt’s time before he was on the run and of course more so, while on the run as the Secret Service’s #1 Most Wanted. His autobiography also points out how the media and even members of the justice system tell a story so far from the truth (or in the case of representatives of the law) misconstrue, exaggerate and just plain lie to the public and the people they serve, US.
So although Matt Cox is certainly responsible for his actions as a con man, it’s interesting to note how much of a CON JOB members of the media and justice officials pull on everyday Americans all too often.
