Fun, not standalone

(no spoilers beyond book jacket material)

So, you're a supervillain who's trying to be a superhero after having saved the world once. What's next?

"Secrets of a D-List Supervillain" is the sequel to "Confessions of..." (or more technically, the third book if you include "Origins of..."), however most of the book actually takes place during the last third of Confessions, while the rest of the book moves forward, setting up the story to come.

That's the thing. If you like the characters from the earlier book(s) and/or want to know what went on behind the scenes of Confessions and/or want to know what is coming up next, this book is an excellent acquisition. But it doesn't really contain a standalone story. Confessions was fine without reading Origins. It sounds like the next book might be approachable as a standalone. This one is not. That is not a bad thing, if you're in it for the series, but it is something to keep in mind.

Funny. Funny. Stuff. Keep going please. A few of Bobby's lines are going to make it into my vocabulary. He was talking but all I hear is stupid. That's classic. Funny funny stuff

Awesome

The mother of all anti-hero stories! One must read the whole series! The orator adds another level to the entertainment.

eh...

I enjoyed it and thought the narrator was good, but I felt someone a bit more excitable would have been better.

Good read if read in order
