Far fetch story…
I enjoyed secret pregnancy story. However, it was far fetched to have two babies from the same man and not telling him. This story was not worth one credit. It was too short and felt rushed. It was told with dual POV. I picked this bc I’m a fan of mr Lockhart. This is my first read from this author. I would read/ listen again from her other work this author.

Honestly, I got into the story line. She caused most of the problems because she omitted pertinent info and she had ample time to confess. All that happened was her fault. Her brother is another case but I blame her for all that happened with the father. she didn't even learn from the first mistake and started hiding the second baby again.

weird and unrealistic
The idea of the book was great but the author's wording choices were offputting. I dont know anybody uner the age of 90 and who isn't British that uses the term betrothed. The way the characters phrased things made them seem as though they were in their 60's (at least) at times. One page they were speaking like weird british royalty and the next they were dropping 4 letter words.
