Interesting way to tell a story

The author captured the retelling of someone's life in a novel way. I listened to this story and loved the reader's accents but found her reading of the narrative sections uneven. At times it was surprising that an entire new paragraph and new thought were being read.

Touching Story

Loved this story! Characters so real. Narrator wa excellent. Highly recommend. Would read again gladly.

Good Story but Strong Scottish Accent

The narrators accent was very hard to understand. Her normal conversation voice was fine, but her Scottish accent was very thick and strong. I normally listen to the books at a faster speed and it was impossible to do so with this book.

I would have liked to have read something about Ella’s daughter finally forgiving her. That seemed to be a piece that was missing from the story. Other than that, I love a good romance and this was a good one!

Loved this!

I find myself placing judgement at the beginning of any book and was feeling like maybe this will be a story I feel like I’ve heard. It was not. This was such a great story which unfolded beautifully. There are so many things I loved about this book including the visual journey at times. Wonderful love lessons in life. ❤️

Great story

At first it was difficult to switch back and forth in time, but once the story got started, it was easy to follow. Loved the story line. Highly recommend.

Not my cup of tea. To much up down exaggerated voice that is annoying. Ruins the book. I mean who speaks like that. No one. Annoying!! Ruins the whole experience. I be sure to avoid this narrator even if I really would like the book
