I love the continuation!

This was another great listen! Fiona Baker does a great job in continuing the story of the Owens’ family. We get to see more of Alexis and Grayson’s story with some more details about Hazel and Dean.
Amy McFadden did a great job in bringing all of these characters to life, and I enjoyed listening to her narrate.

Fiona, I absolutely loved love loved this beautiful book from start to finish. I’m absolutely loving this beautiful series that is so heartfelt that I just cannot help to fall in love with every single character in the books. This book is totally different than what I’ve been recently listening and reading to, but it puts a massive smile in my face.

This heartfelt book made me laugh hysterically a few times, broke my heart just sometimes, made me swoon and a few other feelings. In this book, we learn about Alexis and her husband Grayson. They have been drifting away from each other for the past few years and Grayson does something that changes everything. Grayson decided that he is gonna fight for his marriage with Alexis and he goes to her hometown to win her back.

I just wanna applaud you, Amy McFadden for doing a spectacular job with this book. You truly have become one of my new favorite narrators and I cannot wait to get my hands on more books you have narrated. If you absolutely love, love, love a story that will drop everything to be with that one person that has always been yours, than this book is for you. This beautiful story has a special place in my heart.

Small town, second chance romance

The second trip to Rosewood Beach was a more enjoyable one for me. Sea Glass Serenade is what I would classify as women's fiction with a dash of romance, and it is a pretty fun read. I appreciate that we get to visit back with the same family, and continuing on with their stories.

Catching small glimpses of Julia's journey with Cooper is satisfying after witnessing them falling in love in the first book. We get more of a look into Dean, the only brother amongst the Owens women, and a pretty devastating medical diagnosis that takes him some time to cope with. Alexis and Grayson are the main focus of this book, and how they try to overcome a marriage on the rocks.

Amy did a pretty good job narrating, though I wish that there was more distinction between characters at times. With the book being in third person, it caused confusion as to who was talking at certain points during the story.
