It’s not just steam, though (okay yeah it does but everything is handled with the 4 C: care, consent, curiosity and communication).

It was a really fun reading!

GahDANG these two were even hotter in audio! Avery Caris and Jameson Adams were soooo good (per usual!) and 10000% did these two justice!

DEAR GAWD! ACE & LARK ARE SO FRIKKIN' HOT!

I loved loved loved this one! Granted, I don't think C.L. Rose is capable of putting out anything but absolute bangers (hehe pun intended), but she sprinkled something extra special on Ace & Lark!

I love how relatable Lark is, and how her fire comes back in full force when she lets Ace in. She is fantastic, and I thought Dia or Monroe were my fave FMCs in this world, but Lark is giving them a run for their money! She isn't afraid to ask for what she wants or explore new things with Ace, and I am here for it! Seeing her come back to life was SO GOOD!

And now Ace...BLESS HIS SWEET LITTLE BABY 21yr OLD HEART! I adored him! He and Lark both had baggage and some things to work through, but how they did that together was top tier! And how they explored?! DEAR GAWD! ONE HANDED READ ALERT!!! Their chemistry and spice was Kindle melting hot!

In short (HA), I love the way they love each other & how good they were for each other, & how they helped each other overcome their hang ups.

Okay let’s talk about this book. Ace Mathers is my dream book boyfriend. Literally everything I could ever want in a man… this man has it.

He is perfect. His and Lark’s story was perfect. And when I say the spice was immaculate. I do absolutely mean it was some of the next spice I have ever read. Like I was fanning myself and overheating and just sitting there like 🥵🥵🥵.

But this story is so good because even though it’s super spicy. It’s so much more than just the spice. It had depth and it has heart, and the things Ace and Lark discovered about themselves and each other while falling in love made me believe in soulmates.

Ace has a damaged past and some baggage for being so young and while Lark is older, she just got stuck in a marriage that pretty much stole her shine. Well, our rookie bb catcher, well he gave it right back to her. I love them with my whole being and they will forever live in my head rent free!

I’ve been waiting for this audio to come out bc it was recommended to me SOO MANY times for books with pegging. I love a good older woman age gap but when you add pegging it’s just exquisite 🤌🏻😘

Really Good

This is a really good story. I enjoyed the age gap in reverse story very much. It's filled with plenty of yummy sexploration and steamy scenes. Also, has a satisfying HEA no annoying contrived 3rd act breakup.
I'm not familiar with these 2 narrators and think they are ok, a little dry, but definitely not bad. And they get the steam a steaming. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
