Lost a little of its sparkle

This was still an overall great listen, but I missed the team dynamic of the first book as the groups was divided (literally and figuratively) for most of the book. I was also disappointed as how little screen time was given to the beasts, or to the interactions of the team with their beasts. There was still a good story involving the nigh-locks and the stars and I would be happy to move onto a third book if there was one.
