Loved it!!

This was funny, heartbreaking, sexy, and violent! While there were a few small moments in which to catch ones breath, it was mostly non stop action and suspense. Dallas, Zane, and Sias worked so well together and I loved the cast of misfits that rounded out their group. Dallas grew so much over this series. I loved being in his head.

Absolutely LOVED this series! So many laughs, tears and fun things. I was pulled into the series and couldn’t stop listening. The narration is amazing and def makes the characters come to life!!

Loved this series

Ordered the first book and a 2 for 1 sale and so glad I did. Really loved the characters, story and series. I hope there is another book in the series or a spin off, I want to know more esp Barns and the new "man"!

An excellent completion to the adventure

A necromancer, an incubus and a vampire enter a club...and wow! Dallas' journey, along with his 'friends', is nearing completion. It's a nail biter. Kirt's narration is awesome, as always. (Can't go wrong with anything he does). Definitely will be revisiting this entire series.

Part 3 of 3 - You made it!!

(Overview of the series: This series is about The mis-Adventures of a snarky fuck-up who mostly tries to do the right thing, & all his bad luck slowly turning out to be not-so-terrible after all. It has a great payoff & a HEA, but we gotta climb out of the gutter with Dallas to get there, so hang on to your fish, it’s a grinder out there.) Kirt Graves still kicking ass in the final book of the series. He’s so Dallas in my brain right now, I’ll have to re-listen to the other Maddox series to break that mold. He’s awesome though. Perfect for grumpy/sunshine & chaotic/calm pairings like this. 10/10

Book 3, like most trilogies, is the most badass because all the main players start coming together: the alliances are set, the big bad villain is revealed, the hero levels up to kick ass… except this is Dallas, so many -many- things will have to go terribly wrong first. But he’s determined and feisty, & he has People now, so we’re gonna make it. Hang in there, Reader! Kevin’s gonna make sure his dumb owner/trainer gets a HEA. He’s a good Beta fish BFF like that.

Love this series. Dallas suffers more than most MCs for my average read, but it makes his joy ring more true when good things finally happen to him. It’s a cathartic read that way. Btw: GREAT SPICE IN BOOK 3. If you’ve been waiting for that slow burn to ignite, grab a glass of water. It’s time. Please enjoy responsibly.
