Fantastic book 9 is out already just not inorder

I thoroughly enjoyed it and was originally not expecting to so I decided to go with the next in the series.

Finally!! 🥰

So excited to finally have book 8 & 9 but still need the others ASAP! Hopefully sooner rather than later. ❤️

I love Penelope Sky!

I’ve been waiting for her to release more of this series on Audible and it was so worth the wait! The story continues from the Button Series, and the characters are as complex and flawed as ever. Young Bones is an interesting contradiction, a man desperately in love who has found his other half, but a family that struggles to accept him due to the sins of the father. Michael Ferraiuolo is flawless as always, and Ramona Master adds lift, lightness, and optimism to her story-telling. I finished this in no-time flat. I can’t wait for the next in the series!!

This series has me in an absolute chokehold!!

I can’t stop. These last four books have had me holding my breath the last hour of each and this one had me SHOUTING!

I WAITED TWO YEARS FOR BOOK 8

I waited two years for this book. I love all of Penelope Sky’s book and this too was a good story and of course a cliffhanger but that was not the annoying part. The female narrator just did not do it for me. She is not a bad narrator she just is not Vanessa. A bit whinny. Sadly to say I would never listen to this one again because of it. I have listened to the first 7 several times because the narrators were stellar and the story is GREAT! Now on the next one. Don’t let this review deter you from listening because the story is worth the credit. In my humble opinion “why mess with a good thing”

I’ve been in love with Penelope Sky’s books for a while.

I’ve loved here for a while. I’ve read most of her books, and now I’m trying to finish the rest with audible. However, the change in narration takes away all the joy I’ve had for this book. The sex parts with Ramona feel unnatural, and quite cringy. I would kill to have Natalie Eaton back.

The only thing…

I’m not a fan of Ramona Master. Her use of the language and her articulation leave lots to be desired. Michael is wonderful. The story is absolutely brilliant!!!

Woman narrator is cringey.

First of all, it’s bad enough to change the woman narrator once. But twice? That’s frustrating. And this one is the most annoying. I do love the story line but I also think two books can fit into one instead of having to pay for so many books in the series.

Truth , love,sacrifice and determination.

The move to Tuscany,had many road blocks, Bones was determined to sacrifice himself to gain the chance of having Vanessa for life. There was no denying the love he had for Vanessa and both Crow and Buttons saw it everyday. Crow still had questions and his mind could not wrap around how his daughter could fall in love with a man that once wanted to kill her whole family. He gathered a lot of information from Bones to realize that before he met his wife they did have many things in common and when he met the woman who stole his heart and changed him for a better man, but it was still hard for him to give them what his daughter asked.
When Vanessa learned somethings went Griffin set out on a mission she stood up to her father and told him she would leave if his answer did not come soon.
Griffin Homecoming...........love heat compassion,anger,heartbreak...
how will this story end???
what is the next step this relationship takes?? Will they get their HEA?? Stay tuned for the next part of this story and don't stop.
Penelope Sky is one talented author that hooks you right into the darkness and fight for true love at all cost.

BRILLIANT.. BUT MY HEART BLED FOR GRIFFIN

For me, this was another non-stop listen from Penelope Sky.. but heartbreaking too as Griffin (aka Bones) moves to prove his love for Vanessa to Crow and the rest of the Barsetti family. Over and over again he speaks of (and proves) his love and dedication for Vanessa.. he turns the other cheek when he is brutally struck.. he reveals all their truths.. he tirelessly works at the Barsetti Winery for absolutely no wages and he only has one thought in mind - to make his woman happy. He faces anger, aggression, hostility and rage from three verbally abusive men that had, at one time, been no better than himself and I wanted to rage at Crow, Cane and Conway for being so hypocritical and stubborn. Griffin and Vanessa have a deep love and can’t keep their hands off each other.. but this is a very emotionally challenging situation.. a situation that sadly blows and it’s going to take another few books to fix. So, lots of emotional drama here as passions and tempers run high and mix with a cloud of suspicion to make a toxic brew. Steam, sparks, tough choices, emotions and secondary characters lasts for six whole weeks and then ......!! The dual POV narration was good. WORTH A CREDIT? Yes, I love this world and the characters that Penelope Sky has one-hundred percent drawn me into.. I love the passion and possessiveness of her alphas, I love Griffin and his selfless beautiful heart and I love the angst and emotional fireworks that come from her gripping well-written chapters. BUT, I hate the endless cliffhangers, the wait between books and the continual drip-feeding of a storyline.
