Second Chance - BDSM Romance

Salvation by Jane Henry is a second chance romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St. Claire. This is the fourth book in the NYC Doms series and can be read as a standalone.

I absolutely love Jane’s books! They always pull me in and leave me begging for more. I really enjoyed the relationship between Chandra and Noah “Axel”. Their history was messy but you couldn’t help but root for them.

I can’t wait to dive into more books in this series in the near future.

Gunnar and Jenna did a great job on the narration. I absolutely love duet narration it just brings the story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves BDSM Romances, Second Chance Romances, or Romantic Suspense.

Another hit

I'm finding out that Jane Henry's books are really great to listen to in audio. The two narrators did a wonderful job and it was very easy to listen too.

A steamy, hot research project

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to write about BDSM clubs and do research on them?  Well then this book is what you are seeking. Claudia is a writer who needs to do research for her latest book. Salvation follows her through the writing process and gives us readers some insight on how it is to write about a topic that is not always accepted. Axel is hiding from his past. But you truly cannot hide from your past, and Axel's catches up to him. A huge storm brings this odd couple together.  Their relationship is hot, heavy and most certainly kinky, for research of course!  Or is it only for research?  Putting this book down, is NOT an option. The twists will capture your mind and make you question ever new character introduced. Trust is earned and until the end, I was unsure who could be trusted.

Jane Henry has once again brought this series to a new level. I enjoyed get insights into writing about BDSM clubs and her hints at some possible struggles. Salvation is my new favorite book!!

Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St Claire totally nailed the narration of this book. Gunnar is the perfect Axel. With his deep voice, he makes Axel the strong Dominant he needs to be. Jenna creates a curious, and sweet Claudia. Jenna brought Claudia to life. I felt as if I was right there inside the book. The chemistry between Gunnar and Jenna shine through in their narration and characters. Axel and Claudia's relationship was hotter because of it. Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St Claire made this story well worth the listen.

Second chance D/s Romance

Axel and Chandra are given a second chance at love and sexual freedom when they find themselves stranded at a BDSM club during blizzard. It’s hot, it’s sensual it’s alpha male goodness. The D/s dynamic feels genuine. The narrators do a great job. And if all the naughty fun isn’t enough there is also a suspense element. I would be interested to find out is that is the thread that connects this series or if it’s the club. This can also be read as a stand alone because this was my first in the series and I never felt lost or out of place.

Thoughtful second chance at love romance

Jane Henry's Salvation is the 4th addition to her NYC Doms series. Characters from the previous book do show up as secondary characters however it's not necessary to have read their stories to enjoy and follow Axel(Noah) and Chandra's story.
From the moment Axel and Chandra become aware of each other at the club the air sizzles. The time they were apart melts away. Gunner Whalen and Jenna St. Claire do a wonderful job with the narration as we learn both their back story and and their new dynamic. There was a underlying suspense plotline that kept the story moving as our couple rediscovered one another and healed old hurts.
I received this audio via Audiobook Obsession.

Hot Dom!

I love Jane Henry’s writing abilities, the heat she puts into her plots and the beautiful love story that leaves you smiling. GQ and Jenna are talented narrators. They pour everything into a story and make you comfortable with each character. I loved this one!

Second chance romance and a whole lot more?

Jane Henry has written a second chance love story that contain so much more including mystery, suspense, BDSM, uncertainties, a controlling family, taking control of one's life, sexual awakening, and revenge. This book has several twists and turns. Chandra and Axel must put their demons from their past to rest in order to take control of their future.

Gunnar Qualan and Jenna St. Claire are amazing storytellers. They bring out the emotions and desires of these characters. They give the characters their own distinct voices. Gunnar gives Axel the perfect alpha dom voice, while Jenna gives Chandra the strong yet sassy submissive voice. I could listen to these two all day. I asked to receive this Audible book and voluntarily wrote an unbiased review. I highly recommend this Audible book. The author and the narrators create an exciting listening adventure.

Second Chance at Club Verge

Salvation by Jane Henry brings Chandra and Axel back together. I enjoyed how this book's focus was on exploration and second chance instead of all BDSM elements. Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St. Claire were magical bringing the characters to life. They added chemistry to the book that one would not get reading it. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrators.

Dynamic Story Narrated by an Amazing Duo

A well written and narrated story of star crossed lovers that had a scandal and didnt meet again until 7 years later. The story of Shondra and Axel is sweet, sad, and HOT.
I cannot wait to listen to more about Verge, this was my first foray into Verge.
The Narrators are awesome. This is the first time I have thoroughly enjoyed a duo narration.

Absolutely sinful and seductive!

This book is sinfully seductive and absolutely fantastic. I love a fabulous Dom story. This is another fabulous in the series and they seem to be getting better and better. This story has action,adventure. Mystery, danger and Romance with an alpha male and strong woman. This is a definite must listen to audiobook.
The narrator’s are fantastic! They do a fantastic job with the characters and voices making it easy to feel as though you are right there in the story.
