Roux, kept me wonderful company. I found myself listening to it every chance I got, whether commuting, cooking or cleaning. The storytelling pulled me in from start to finish.

This book was so good. I loved that we were able to get to know each of the characters to understand how each unique lived experience ties them into the story. It’s a great read about family secrets. Looking for other books by this author.

I laughed. I cried, for all the reasons great novels make you cry. This was a beautiful page turner full of all the integral parts of life’s roux. I’ve fallen in love with a character whose development was so real I feel like I went to law school with her, I judged others, and I grieved/celebrated with them all! A nail biter to the very end that I could NOT pause! Please give us more Ms. Christy!
