Spenser must be 80 plus years old but it doesn’t matter.

Ace Atkins continues to hold up the tradition of Robert B Parker with another excellent Spenser story. I especially liked the appearance of Joe Pike of Elvis Cole fame by Robert Crais.
Robert B Parker created well loved characters who live on! Thank you, Mr. Parker.

Dangerous American cults

Interesting plot and character development. Liked the overall flow and speed of the plot development. Main character is fun addition to an otherwise sad situation in LA County, California. Great narration by Joe Mantegna. Good solid entertainment in my favorite genre. Recommend.

Above Average

This story was not as engaging. The role of the Indian apprentice should have been enhanced. And Susan’s behavior seemed really out of character. Still, it was not bad. Overall above average.

Can anyone tell me why Ace Atkins He never puts hawk. Does her not like Hawk?

Spenser is still Spenser

Ace is doing a great job of keeping Spenser alive and vibrant. Joe, as usual, does an awesome job. Keep them coming, Ace, Spenser is one of my inspirations in my own writing.

Another great Spenser novel

ASAP skins must be channelling the spirit of Robert B. Parker He definitely writes a lot like Robert Parker And this is a great read for any Spenser fan.

This is by far the best effort by Ace Atkins to keep Spenser alive. It was real and it was great!

Good old Spenser humor

Characters from past novels rejoin Spenser in Hollywood. Good description of the LA streets & restaurants. Lots of unpredictable action.
