An excellent audio book

This audio book was absolutely magnificent and the voice acting was phenomenal in every way.

10/10 Content

I will say this straight out but I was gifted this Audible book but here is my honest opinion about this.

1. I don't read books very often but when I do I try to get book on tape because it adds more to what you are reading.
2. Zachary Johnson was an amazing pick for this book.
3. The imagery, messages, and the environment of New Beam City was clear and concise and I thought it was a real city.

Overall the book was well written, well thought out, and a great starting project to an aspiring author who has put his heart, soul and passion into this book. Congrats on your success.

Start of something great!

An immersive story from start to finish with, a wonderful attention to detail. I'll give a nod to the author for making the world feel lived in and creating characters that have an aire of authenticity that makes you instantly want to know more about and care what happens to them. They are brought to life in splendid fashion by Zachary Johnson. It's my first time reading this author or listening to this narrator but I hope they can keep working together for future installments. Looking forward to more!

REALLY Dope Story!!

I had a lot of fun with this story and the constant references to manga/anime is a plus!! A bit short BUT…it gets me excited for the next book!

A quick and captivating listen!

This audiobook is fantastic. All the way from the narrators delivery to the minute details of the story. you can tell the narrator understood exactly what the author meant to convey and it made the story pass quicker than I would have liked. Every character is unique and a blast to get to know; always leaving you wanting to learn more though. Overall this book is a genuinely enjoyable step into a brand new futuristic cyberpunk world that I cannot wait to hear more about! BRING ON BOOK TWO!!!

Really really good

Immerse yourself into a world of action and intrigue. Get emotionally involved with characters that are brought to life. This is really my first time in the cyberpunk genre and Son of Syn has me wanting more. Please do yourself a favor and listen to this book. You will not regret it.

Awesome story, Can't wait for more!

the story was well written, never dragged on and kept hanging on what would happen next! Great descriptive storytelling paints an awesome world for these interesting characters. The narration was excellent. Hard to believe it was just one person narrating the audiobook. the clear distinction between voices were great and I never got confused on which character was speaking. Great story, and great audiobook!

An Enjoyable Action Filled Cyberpunk Story

I'll admit I'm not a huge fan of Cyberpunk genre stories, more of a fantasy genre, but this story had me entertained as I listened. The characters were very engaging and likeable, at least in my opinion, you can definitely tell they have personality in this book. Story is filled with action and I'm all for that. I bet this would make a cool anime...

The person voicing the book did an amazing job, even added reverberations for needed lines. It really draws the characters together when the VA is reading in different tones as well, I very much appreciated that.

Listened from start to finish, I hope book 2 becomes an audio book as well. I highly recommend this. Also the name of the shop, 10/10 love it lol, it also made me hungry every time the food was mentioned. I advise you listen with snacks

Excellent Descriptive and Engaging Experience!

As someone who reads a lot of books, this one is one of my favorites in recent years. As soon as it was released via Audible, I couldn't wait to experience the descriptive and immersive storytelling in a new way. The narration is absolutely incredible. Audio books need a great voiceover to be successful and this has been one of the best narrations I have heard. The world building and character development are really great experiences to watch as they unfold. Listening to the audiobook, I found myself envisioning the environment with much greater detail than other Audible books I have listened to over the years. This is kudos to the writer and narration. I am excited to see the future of this series unfold! I AM A FAN!
