Resumen del Editor

Atticus and Neil are the newly crowned "hottest male narration team" for Mmm-Mmm romance, and they're flying high on the praise.

Nothing can get them down.

Until Vera and Cameron usher a mysterious voice onto the scene and shake the foundation of the audiobook industry itself.

In a world where humanity is all we have, can our group of former friends band together to save the future of storytelling? Or are audiobooks destined to be nothing more than a bunch of beep beep boop?

Absolutely Brilliant on all fronts!

They're all back and they have thoughts about something new in the industry. Time has passed since These Walls Can Talk. Anyone who follows audiobooks closely would highly enjoy this continuation of the group's story. Friendships are made and some have changed. Vera and Cameron are making changes with mixed results; Neil is now an in-demand narrator, Georgia has questionable naptime tricks; Niffer and Andrea are spreading their wings; Atticus misses a friend; Frankie has secrets and new addition Artie won't stop pivoting.

As with the past TWCT plays, Erin Mallon has written a funny and compelling story about the trials and tribulations of romance book narration. This play touches on the balance of audiobook narrations, working with authors, and the impact of AI narration in this space. One of the great things about this series that I love is that it is obviously written in an exaggerated way; however, anyone who follows this industry at all will raise their eyebrow wondering how close to the truth this really could be. I love it, I enjoyed everything about it, the freaking rap battle was a treat. ALso loved having the blooper reel on the audio version.

I was able to listen to a copy of the audio version. The whole cast was amazing. Teddy Hamilton, Tanya Eby, Joe Arden, Erin Mallon, Emma Wilder, Maxine Mitchell, Andi Arndt, Shane East and Jason Clarke were such a delight to listen to.

Best Yet

I devoured all three books in a matter of hours and they just got better and better. Humor, talk about sex and the industry, the performances were spot on, not that I would expect anything less from these narrators.

Hope there will be a TWCT 4!

Hilarious

I’ve enjoyed this whole series. The comedy was great and the characters were so relatable. It gives a insight on how audiobooks are made. How people are able to work together and be friends. While also showing that one day audiobooks could be turned into an AI generated but how it works so much better with human voices. Joe Arden his rapping was hilarious and teddy was so funny and just as entertaining highly entertaining highly recommend

Another terrific entry in this series! It was just as funny as the previous audiobooks, and the narrators are fully inhabiting their characters. They all seem to be having so much fun recording this that it is impossible not to have fun right along with them. The epilogue was sheer genius, and I plan on replaying that many times over.

Another Gem from Erin Mallon

Erin Mallon has quickly become one of my favorite authors. Everytime she releases a new book or play, I know I am going to love it. I honestly don't even look at the blurb to see what it is about. Erin brings human emotions to life, which may seem a simple thing to do as we all have emotions, but so many writers have a difficult time giving emotions to their characters and making their readers feel them too. She has a true gift.

This play is the third and final installment in a trilogy of plays celebrating the romance audiobook world. The first two plays are comedic masterpieces because like all good comedy, it shows us our vulnerabilities and allows us to laugh in solidarity with others knowing we are not alone in our thoughts and actions. This play is a beautiful, funny end cap to this very fun trilogy.

I have come to love each character that we have met throughout this trilogy and Erin managed to introduce a new character that embodies a very real concern in this industry; artificial intelligence. Jason Clarke did a brilliant job of voicing the robot Artie Smarts. Because Jason IS human, there was a touch of humanity in his performance that isn't in AI, and that somehow made his character terrifying. I wasn't expecting to feel some tension, as I know that Erin's plays all end happily, but I legitimately felt a bit of anxiety at one point thanks to the actions of this robot.

I could go on and on, but truly I recommend listening to these fabulous plays. I recommend it to everyone, not just romance listeners/readers.

Shenanigans, Banter, Laughter, and Feels

This was just amazing. In a time where there is so much going on and the world feels even more unhinged this was the perfect escape. Some parts had me laughing so much, I was in tears.

Written by Erin Mallon and performed by an amazing cast. The story continues with plenty of shenanigans, laughter, banter, and a side of feels. The conversations between the characters is everything and Erin's ability to write really shines. Jason Clarke was added to the cast and voiced the role of the machine. I had heard/read other narrators from this project proclaim Jason's performance blew them out of the water, and they weren't kidding. If you enjoyed the first two books of this series, you will hands down love this as well.
