Great World Building!
Judy I. Lin eases the reader into a familiar world with secrets hidden within. For the main character, a 16 year old girl stuck with the weight of responsibilities of being the eldest child, we get to watch a new character arc unfold. Katherine does a good job of bringing the characters to life with added understanding of the switches between languages that slide effortlessly off her tongue. This was an enjoyable listen.

Nightmares
When I first started reading this book-my dreams were filled with nightmarish creatures. There is a magic in the words of this story. You’ll need to read it until the end to dispel the conjurings that Judy I Lin creates with her story Telling.
