Good story!💜

There’s all kinds of reasons I loved this story and a few why I didn’t.
First, I absolutely love the comradely between all these characters. They are protective, playful and sexy. I also love that the love interests are crossed over within each story. It’s a great way to build up interest for the next main couple. I also love that while they are protective they trust their pack with each of their females. In some stories the male is willing to kill any other male for just looking at their female regardless of who it is.
And then finally, I absolutely love that this story is filled with back story and the life and times of this family/pack on a daily basis. We get to watch them have fun, go out dancing, fight with each other, train for protection against the enemy and learn quirky things such as eating habits, the bond between twins and wearing t-shirts with funny sayings on them. Oh and hot sex that’s good too.
What I didn’t care for was the length of this story. IMO it could have been a bit shorter.
Also IMO, There were a few words/phrases that were repeated a bit too many times for me.
Regarding the narration, I felt that Jarman Day did a wonderful job for the most part. He’s especially good at emotions and alpha hotness. He has a great range and I can easily tell one character from another. IMO, his drawl isn’t actually a drawl, but otherwise I enjoyed his narration very much! This is book 2 and this couple has an HEA, however the story continues in book 3 which I cannot wait for. I recommend this book/series.
