POWERFUL

Mr. Ravenhill is one of my favorite Author simply because is honest way of presenting the topic. it's my opinion that far too many Christians are over sensitive and think him harsh, I on the other hand find his approach convicting and motivating to work harder at being a better Christian!!

Picked me up when I was discouraged

Great listen. It jumpstarted my passion to pray and seek God before anything else. Must read for those wanting to see revival in their lifetime.

There’s a reason we know who Leonard Ravenhill was. His ability to put into words the need for real, soul stirring prayer is astounding. This book contains practical ways to enter into true revival, which Ravenhill convincingly points out is desperately needed.

Shaun Grindell reads this book in a manner that might make one believe he wrote it himself. He passionately reads this book as a man who believes its content.

Very stirring to the soul!

This is a great book. It’s painful and very stirring to the soul. However it really shines a light on the way back to revival God’s way!!!

It is a plumb line in my culture of Christianity.

My personal revival will start with this desire to change my culture, which is hard. it's all I know. I get into routines. my normal get comfortable. my culture for too long has been approval and acceptance. my prayer life grows, then my pears convince me to pray less, and God will still bless. though that's true, I must push past the encouragement to reduce my prayerlife and... well, you know. we all struggle with the same things.
