This is a fun teen fantasy novel centered around dragons and hopeful teens. These teens want to be picked to be dragon riders. The choosing happens every 5 years. It follows a very rich girl and a poor boy. Very few of each are ever picked. They are teamed up and it is not only the story of how they learn to be dragon riders but the interaction with the dragon, bullying from other riders, getting to know each other, and more. A fun, fantasy, and every kids dream to ride a dragon! At least I always wanted a dragon and not a pony!
The narrator is perfect for this book. She is able to perform all the multitude of voices without fault. Wonderful job.

Dragon Legends: Return of the Darkening, Volume 2

This is another great book and continues the wonderful tale of these teen dragon riders. More battles, danger, suspense, and betrayal. Our heroes are getting more connected to their red dragon. Talking with their minds to the point they can sense what the dragon can sense. Someone has stolen the Memory Stone and using it to control people so the Darkness can come. Lots of battles, including dragon battles. Great mysteries, suspense, tension, and great interactions. Great fantasy!
The narration is so cool! Very good of getting the reader into the story! Makes the story more alive!

Dragon Bonds: Return of the Darkening, Book 3

This book ends a great series with lots of battles, magic, emotions, thrills, and surprises. A great series and I must say I will miss the dragons and their riders! I may not be a teen or young adult but I enjoyed this series too. Lots of special powers are exposed and the one behind the darkness. Everything comes together nicely. The narrator is wonderful to continue the great with consistency, emotions, and so much more. Perfect for these books!

Great Series!

I had a blast listening to the books. There were a couple inconsistencies in the story but they were minor.

The one problem I had with the book series was the love interest; there was none. First you think there might be one with the prince and they you hope there maybe one with Seb. A marriage with Seb would have made a happy ending for me.

That said, I will not ruin the ending. It was easy to tell what the ending would be, and how it would end, but the journey there was worth every moment.

The narration is what took this series and shot it over the top from good to Great!

I will definitely be keeping an eye on future books from the author and the narrator.

Great but short and underdeveloped.

I loved the books, story and performance were both great. If you like dragon riders and dragons, magic and battle, this series is for you.

My only complaint is about depth. Some aspects of the story should have been a little deeper. Mainly, the characters and the building of suspense before the climax should have had more to them. I didn't have the time to grow fond of the main characters as I would normally prefer. There were no shocking twists or unpredictable actions.

Good story

I listened to all three of these books and enjoyed them. The last book being the most unique. The first two didn’t do anything other than remind me of Harry Potter and How To Train Your Dragon.
The narration was very good.

Glad I finished it.

Overall this was a good series. There could have been more action and a bigger climax. There was so much build up I kept waiting for something crazy to happen. It had a good ending but very quick. There could have been bigger battles/wins/loses at the end of books 1 & 2. I am a huge fan of Eragon so do not even try to compare the two. It’s not the same relationship with dragons that you would expect. They try, but no!

better than the trilogy.

the story line was a little better structure. but still had a tendency to run off with dribble it one or more of the characters heads. it was frustrating. i would not recomend the books unless you are bored to death.

Great Dragon adventure series. Great characters. I really enjoyed this series. Give it a try, and you will be surprised.

Enjoyed it a lot. The narrator keeps you in suppence . If you like stories about magic and Dragons you will enjoy this alot.
