5 Crazy Ass Must Read/Listen Stars!!!!!

Audrey Carlan has done it again! I starting reading her work with the Calendar Girls series and absolutely loved it. She quickly moved her way on to my Favorite Author List and with the start of this new series, she has just solidified her place and moved up her spot.
I love the fresh take on a sports romance . The yoga part was really refreshing and has made me miss the practice. I even gone so far as to make an appointment for refresher lessons.
I love Viv and Trent's characters. Their story was sweet, funny, exciting, and oh so HOT! I just love how Audrey was able to incorporate all the different aspects of the story and made it one hell of story. I can't wait to read more from her. Commence stalker mode!

Generally don’t review books, but this one was so different than any others I’ve listened to in a long time. The sex was hot and the characters were well written!

Enjoyed the story. Didn’t enjoy the hero.

Enjoyably story and characters. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the heroes crude thoughts and actions towards women. He’s a famous baseball player that is the very definition of a playboy. I’m sure his thoughts about women are realistic, I just don’t enjoy reading that behavior in a book and especially the main character.

The story was a little hard to get into but, I was sucked in soon and wanted to binge listen as soon as the characters were introduced. I love Audrey Carlan stories, and the narration was on point

Pretty Good

This was a pretty good and steamy read. I felt like everything seemed to be going top speed, but I guess that's the theme most of these books will be running with. The repetitions of "Oh my word!" were a little aggravating and certainly didn't sound like anything sexy to ME, but other than that, there weren't may complaints.

Very Enjoyable

The narration of Jacob and Holly was great, not only do they brought the story more to life, they also really did a great job making us feel the intensity of their feelings on every situation..

Genevieve was a yoga teacher trying to make her way in life, supporting her siblings as her parents were no longer around..
life and circumstances made Genevive to take charge of everything, making it difficult for her to be able to complete her dreams and career.. she was working in different jobs to be able to provide for the family, life wasn't easy and she didn't need any complications until him.. the most handsome guy she ever met..

Trent is a famous baseball player who is used to have chicks all over himself, he is not ready for any committed relationship,
he just wants to keep playing baseball and have some fun.. but life has other plans for him, plans that he will no longer be able to change or denied.. plans that will change him forever.

Genevieve is a good heroine, she is strong and hard-working, she is determined and grounded but life and circumstances had made her keep her heart away, somehow making her a little guarded not believing easily.. she is not ready for any commitment, she feels like she doesn't have time for anything like that, she has so many responsibilities to be just playing around..

Trent doesn't understand, the responsibility Genevieve has, making harder for him to court her, but he is a very persistent hero and he won't take no for an answer.. he will get what he wants no matter if that means changing and becoming a better man.

The chemistry between Genevieve and Trent was off the chart, you could feel the need and want from Trent whenever Genevive was around. I didn't expect the intensity of the sex scenes and the passion between them. it was a very great surprise. not only Trent was amazing in bed he was a super dirty talker.

so many great characters that surround Genevieve and Trent, making this story more enjoyable and great.

This is my first book written by Audrey Carlan. it was a pleasant surprise, I like the element of yoga she used as well of the chakras on each chapter making us somehow aware of what is about to happen.

great book, and great characters.. looking forward to reading more of Audrey's work..

GREAT BOOK EXCEPT FOR FEMALE NARRATOR

Each time H Chandler speaks (reads) she takes a HUGE breathe. So distracting, it took 3 years to complete this audio. Performance rec'd 2 stars bc J Morgan did a GREAT job. Willing to give book two a try only bc H Chandler is not reading.

Love Jacob Morgan! The female voice got irritating after a while. I know she was trying to be all Zen, but too monotone.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!

This book was amazing and never let me down! I couldn’t stop listening. I loved the characters and their story. This is my first Audrey Carlan book and it won’t be my last.

Great story, not wonderful audio casting.

I listen to several audio books weekly, this is the second time in years I’ve been turned off by the female audio cast. To me, her voice was not well suited for the young, calm demeanor, sexy, yoga-fied Genevieve character. The voice actor I pictured being an older woman, chasing soccer kids around who nagged her husband. Lol- great story line and I am a huge Audrey Carolan fan! The Calendar Series is probably one of my favorite all time.
