was unhappy with this one

I was unhappy with this book not sure if it was because it's how it was read or not but I didn't enjoy it. sorry just my 2 cent to input here.good luck

Nice Sci-fi romance but ...

Narrator tries but does not Enhance the story at all. Her male voices are bad - almost awkward. Normal voice would’ve been preferable - the story was interesting.
yes I will try the next book It’s a different narrator and sounds better from the sample audio.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend the story because the story line is pretty good. I would not recommend the audio book. The narrator was not that great. I do not wish to put down the narrator because i know doing this has to be a challenge. But i feel if she would work on a better deliverance of the characters voices it would make the audio book better.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the humor and how accepting Kira was of her situation.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Audrey Lusk?

Maybe Amanda Ronconi the Half Moon Hollow books by Molly Harper. She brings out the wit in these books. I think she could do great job with this series.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yeah. I could .

The story is pretty good but i enjoyed the story line. I did have a problem with listening due to the way the narrator presented the voices for the character but i am not going to take anything away from the story. I would like to listen to the next but if it is the same narrator i do not know if i can get through it.

When read the missed reviews I wan't sure. But since the audio and kindle ebook were under $6.00 I knew it was a bargain. I really both characters and understood her insecurity while fining here way with drop dead gorgeous alien. The narrator did a good job! Looking forward to more and have purchased the ebook!

Can't stand the narrator

The book was good from the 7 chapters I listened to; but the narrator wasn't so good. the voices she did seemed very cartoonish and unbelievable. I couldn't get past that so i stopped listening after chapter 7.
