fantastic story with the narrator doing a fantastic job! if you are into MC stories and paranormals this story will give you a thrill and lift as you travel with the members, especially Mars.

Great read

Mars by Becca Fanning was a great read. Mars is a bear shifter in the Nomads MC. Annette is an investigative journalist who loves to chase a story. She gets wind of human trafficking at the Nomads MC. Little did she know that going there would change her life completely. I can’t wait to read more of this series.

Fun characters

Bear shifter motorcycle club is dragged into human trafficking by an unscrupulous president. Mars has just found his true mate and is angered when she is injured in a shootout with the trafficker gang. He and his bears devise a plan to get rid of their president and the traffickers.

good book!! definitely worth the read til the end! Mars is a bear who finds his mate who is not a shifter! they have two days to seal their mate bond along with being targeted by human trafficers! annette is a journalist who isnt afraid of shifters and falls in love with mars! i was given a copy of this audiobook for free by my request and voluntarily left this review!

An easy time out

An easy listen if you like bears, motorcycle clubs, or bad boys, without angst.
Annette is an investigative reporter looking to write an expose on human trafficking.
Mars Donner is the VP of a motorcycle club, and he’s looking for a way to stop the club president from taking them further down the path of ruination. They are both surprised by their mate bond, and it’s strength.
I have enjoyed Ms Lusk’s narration ever since I first heard her on Rescued by Tordin. Her voice has a natural “sexy goddess” woman power intonation that elevates the sexy factor on any story.
Hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

Great Content, not a great narrator.

I loved this storyline. It kept me interested start to finish! That being said, the narrator just didn't do it for me. I can't pinpoint what about it but I just wish it would have had a better narrator with such an interesting read... *I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review of the book.

Fun Shifter Romance

Mars and Annette had great chemistry and their romance was pretty steamy. Something that I found hard to overlook was the fact that the MC members were drug runners. I found it quite odd that Annette didn't seem to have a problem with that. The club did redeem itself somewhat by rescuing the human trafficking victims. It was nice to see that they had some semblance of a conscience.

I'm a little torn when it comes to the narration. Overall Audrey Lusk did a pretty good job but I really didn't care for the voice of Mars. For the most part I enjoyed this action-packed romance story and would recommend it.

Great shifter listen

Loved the blend of the MC and shifter genres. Fast paced and filled with suspense and heat. Fantastic narrator, she had a unique voice and tone for each character. Wow. Mate Heat Hits Fast!

Lucky, lucky Annette. KaPow! and the biggest, hottest man is all hers. Mars is meeting a reporter to discreetly leak the news of human trafficking and one meeting of their eyes and the mate magic takes over. Annette is just looking for that big breaking story and ends up with a big bad bear. The trafficking is real though and eventually Mars and Annette will face it. Annette is ex-military and can handle the heat but will her PTSD stop her?
Great short story with a lot of plot.

Audrey Lusk has a sultry, I’m sexy and know it, voice. She pushes it a bit too far in the opening lines but quickly falls into a more believable, yet husky voice. She does both sexes well. A professional at execution.
