A Challenge to Slow Down and Deeply Connect

My review title says it all... it gives a picture of effective ministry, families, and personal spiritual walk with deep connections relationally, spiritually, and with ones self. it emphasizes the value of slowing down and caring for the whole person in order to more meaningfully care for others.

Excellent and refreshing

Lance nails it. It’s not a book for seasons of life but rather a roadmap to how we should live life. Not just as leaders but as people who serve the Lord. Grateful for it. Grateful for Lance.

Not just another Pastors help book

I am reading this with a group of pastors as part of our experience together equipping pastoral leaders. Of all the books that I was told to read to improve my life and ministry, this is the only one ever I could not wait to get back to so I could learn more. I would recommend this book to any leader and or pastor wanting to grow in themselves or leadership styles.
