Trying to be campy but overdid it

Story is interesting. Couldn't finish the books too. Many attempts to be campy, such as talking the Chicago Cubs all the time. virtual voice was a killer for this story. I couldn't get the tone right at the right time. just too hard to listen to. I'm not sure if I'll listen to any other books that have virtual voice.This one was so painful.
