Delicious slow burn!

Renata Vitali is a delicious slow burn! Parker Huntington did a fabulous of laying down Damian and Renata’s story. In this prequel, Damian and Renata are teenagers in this story and it’s seriously high chemistry and it builds my obsession up another layer and I feel seriously excited for their full book… coming up after I upload this review!

These narrators, Zachary Webber and Desireé Ketchum were P E R F E C T!!!! They brought Huntington’s characters to life… they gave Damian and Renata a voice… they brought them to life and I fell for them and loved every single flawless utterance.

Heiress To Vitali Mafia Throne!

Renata Vitali, A Prequel to Damiano De Luca (The Five Syndicates Series) caught my eye with its beautiful cover and intriguing synopsis. Thus novella begins with a intriguing listen and continues till the end. Character's are compelling with complex personalities. I absolutely love the witty banter between Damiano & Renata. A special blend of ingredients forward, prologue, quotes before each chapter & epilogue al interwined to create a poignant listen. Angst, passion, and intrigue swirling through the pages. The writing style draws you in & keeps you captivated until the end. I'm absolutely loving this series and this novella is no exception, as I love it to. Looking forward to listening to Damiano De Luca.


Narators Desiree Ketchum and Zachary Webber duet narration of this novella was impeccable. Their inflection flowed through flawlessly and smoothly. I absolutely love Zachary Webber's baritone voice. Desiree's voice is intoxicating and keeps you wanting more.

It was destiny

Renata Vitali was unlike anyone he had ever met. Just her presence alone was enough to undo him and make him the more driven to achieve his destiny. She complimented him and her intellect was breathtaking. Damiano would slowly let her in as he attempted to keep the walls that separated them down one brick at a time. Excellent performance by the narrators! Definitely a must read. Parker delivers a story that will pull you into the Syndicate one word at a time and make you desperate to stay.

Quality Over Quantity

So with this being a novella I wasn't expecting too much from it but boy was I wrong! WOW!! This book was full of all the things, All the feelings, the action, the excitement. It made me want more!

If you are looking for an HEA, this isn't it but it is everything else one could want in a book.

Renata Vitali is a mafia princess who was sent to live with the De Luca Devil's Ridge, Texas as a punishment by her father. Renata ends up learning things about the De Luca family she didn't even know about, like Damiano De Luca. How did she not know of his existence? It intrigues her why he would be kept a secret.

You get to see just exactly who Renata is and I loved her! I loved watching her and Damian learn about each other and seeing all the little things going on between the two of them.

This story is told in multiple POVs so you get to see a little of both sides and it is perfection!

Zachary Webber and Desiree Ketchum did a phenomenal job! I just love listening to their narration. Their voices are just right, they can do accents like a natural and they both put just the right amounts of emphasis at just the right times to make the books truly come alive for the reader.

Parker S Huntington has done it again! She wrote such a sweet story between Renata and Damiano that it made my heart melt. I did love the duet style in the narration and the fact that Zachary Webber was doing the male voice made it all the better.
I am thankful that the story isn’t over and I’m excited to see what will happen between the two of them. I hope they get their HEA.

Edgy and Exhilarating prequel!

This prequel to Renata and Damiano's intriguing story! They are young but are well versed in the life of the mafia, and know how to play the game. Renata is staying with Damiano and his family and he feels protective of her right from the start. Even tho they are on different levels of the mafia hierarchy, they become undercover friends and unlikley allies. But politics and power are a dangerous game and this story is so captivating that I can't wait to find out where it goes next. Desireé Ketchum and Zachary Webber are amazing as they bring this intriguing story to life. They really build the tension of the story and the hint of attraction between Renata and Damiano adding to Huntington's edgy and exhilarating story.

Amazing narration and story!

Another great book from Parker! I loved both of the narrators in this story as well, Desireé and Zachary have a great voice that’s easy to follow along to and really picture the story in your head. I finished this in no time and I need the next book right away to find out what happens to Knight and Damsel. I loved that Renata was so strong and could face off anyone and everyone if needed but was still able to care for Damian especially when he needed a friend or some saving.

Not worth the money or credit

Skip this on and just get the next one which tells this story verbatim. No new info in this prequel. Mad i wasted $$

Amazingly Beautiful!

This is a prequel to Damiano De Luca. I love the cover! Wow! Renata and Damiano's story is amazing! They are both great and strong characters. This is a short story, but nothing is missing. The storyline is totally captivating, fast-paced, fun, intriguing, sexy, and also heartbreaking. The story is beautifully written. I love the Foreword, the quotes before each chapter, the prologue, the epilogue, and everything between. I enjoyed reading each word of this story. The Duet narration is well done! Desireé Ketchum and Zachary Webber did an amazing job with the narration. They are both great as Renata and Damiano. I highly recommend this book, and this series. Now, I can't wait to read the next book, Damiano De Luca. Parker S. Huntington is on of my favorite authors. If you haven't read her books yet, you have to began with Asher Black, the first book in The Five Syndicates Series.
