The collab we didn't know we needed

I DEVOURED this one. Admittedly, I'm a huge fan of M. Night's movies but not the biggest fan of Nicholas Sparks. However, this collab was one I didn't know I needed. Romance, mystery, murder, paranormal activity, spooky. Sprinkle in a narration by Julia Whelan and you have 🤌.

The story setup was so intriguing that the rest of the story engaged me to the conclusion. It was character rich and the narrators were outstanding. Loved it.

Beautiful Story, Great Audio — Just Wanted a Littl

I really wanted to give this one five stars. Hear me out! With Nicholas Sparks and M. Night Shyamalan teaming up, I expected a mix of deep emotion and a jaw-dropping twist. What I got instead was a beautifully written, steady story with a soft paranormal thread that kept me listening but never quite shocked me.

The audio performance was excellent. I heard that Jake Gyllenhaal will star in the movie, so I couldn’t help picturing him while listening even though Ari Fliakos narrated. He did a great job, and Julia Whelan (whom I recognized from Atmosphere) was phenomenal as always. Their voices really brought the emotion and tone to life.

Overall, this was an enjoyable listen. It was poignant, atmospheric, and thoughtful. It just wasn't as intense or twisty as I was expecting from this powerhouse duo.

Loved it from the beginning until the end. It needs a sequel - I want to know about the little boy now.
