Nothing had prepared either his scientologist daughter or himself for the devastating shock when the Church of Scientology prohibited her from ever speaking or seeing him again - something that has become common in this cult.
If she violated their disconnection order, she would also be labeled an enemy, forced to disconnect from her scientologist husband, mother, and friends and lose what most probably was her last opportunity to become a mother.

This allowed the author to share deeper insights into his family experiences and the dynamics of the current dangers of involvement in scientology's various organizations.
This book acts as a warning to any existing or prospective new scientologist to recognize what Judge John Breckenridge declared: “In addition to violating and abusing its own members' civil rights, the organization has harassed and abused those persons not in the church whom it perceives as enemies. The organization is clearly schizophrenic and paranoid, and this bizarre combination seems to be a reflection of its founder L. Ron Hubbard. The evidence portrays a man who's been virtually a pathological liar when it comes to his history, background, and achievements."
Money, power, and control of their members life is how scientology functions. Scientology conditions new members from the moment they begin, using hypnotic language that destroys their emotional intelligence and turns them into submissive zombielike disciples. Listeners can learn more of the tricks scientology uses to hypnotize and control their members.

Very good book!
simple explanation of how sick the Cult of Scientology actually is. A cult that was based on a lie and had it's only purpose to milk money out of their unsuspecting victims.

Tom Cruise is NOT Jesus Christ...
This wonderful book can be summed up as a Father's fight against the Hubbard sect. Scientology is harmful to society and constitutes a serious danger to all those who submit to its precepts.
