HOLY WOW.... S.J.'s DONE IT AGAIN

Everyone who's listened to the previous books in this fantastic series knows that bad boy Troy has once had his heart broken and that's why he's not interested in any long-term relationships but what we never knew is who broke it and why. Well, the story is heartbreaking for Troy - three best friends Troy, Giselle (aka Ellie) and Ryker who all grew up in Foster care together and formed a close bond with each other as they each looked out for and protected one-another. However, as they grew into adults, their lives changed.... Ryker went off to join the Military leaving Troy and Ellie to grow even closer to each other but Ellie had dreams of becoming a famous Country Singer and, when opportunity came knocking at her door, she tore Troy's heart out by taking a chance and never looking back..... leaving Troy, her heartbroken lover, lost, alone and bitter.

Now, after 7 years, they're finally in the same place (Las Vegas) but everywhere frustrated Troy looks are huge billboards with the beautiful, and now very successful, Giselle Diamond plastered all around which stirs up cherished memories and torturous thoughts of what could have been if only.... and his thoughts are tearing him apart. But there's also bitter thoughts that hardens his heart towards Ellie who left him without looking back - interested only in her career. Which is actually far from the truth because Ellie never stopped thinking back to the love she gave up, to whether it's all been worth it and the loneliness she feels towards the life she's now living.

Fate steps in and has the two ex lovers working on the same film, mixing in the same circles and, unknown to Ellie, she's already had a very hot encounter with Troy... however, she only knows of a mysterious sensual masked man who drew her into a sizzling scene when she naively visited a Sex Club for research purposes. Destined to be together these two have to overcome mistakes made by both of them, learn to trust one another again, rekindle, reacquaint and heal the once broken bonds shared by loving soul-mates. And to watch out that history doesn't repeat itself by letting other things get in the way of their love....and their happy ever afters.

This is a wonderful, all consuming love story that was certainly worth the wait.... Troy is a handsome Stunt man and a sexy smooth talking Hero who is unexpectedly given, and can't resist, one last chance to touch and caress the lost love of his life.... unaware that Destiny is about to work its magic. If anyone apart from me has to have Troy then I'm glad it's Ellie because she's a Heroine who's made mistakes, suffered the consequences, learnt from them and thankfully doesn't break Troy's heart twice. There's very sensual scenes, a bit of angst, some sweet tender touching times, a heart wrenching "oh no she didn't...." stomach churning Chapter or two but they all lead to a very beautiful HEA.

Worth a credit? Loveable characters, dual POV's, skilfully narrated by the very talented Piper Goodeve, a riveting storyline written by the gifted Author Skye Jordan who's penned a beautiful and compelling love story.... and I wouldn't change a single word of it. So, creditworthy.... Hell yeah.

The PERFECT story

I have been anxiously awaiting Troy's story and it does not disappoint! As with all Ms. Jordan's stories, this is a perfect mix of finding the love of your life and trying to reconnect in this crazy, hectic thing we call life. She has hit the perfect tone with love, loss, reconnection and pivotal decisions that must be made. Do you choose the dream you have had your entire life or do you choose the most important person in your life? The person that you walked away from once to fulfill your dream. When that decision is placed in front of Wes and Ellie, the choice is heart wrenching.

I love Ms. Jordan's stories because she introduces deeply drawn characters that grow as their life changes. You will love this story.
