She does it again! So beautifully written and performed! I fall in LOVE with this series again and again every time I read a book in this series.

10/10 book and 10/10 audio like what more can one say and expect from Tahereh Mafi other than greatness and masterpieces! Also that yearning and tension between rosa and james?? Chef's kiss!✨

Hoped for more content

Surprisingly little content and too much internal character conflict. I believe it could have been done as well with less effort in consistent extended moments on repeat. Kept me engaged and I did enjoy it. I am sure I will be happy to give all 5’s once the series is at its end. As with the prior, I need to put this away until all the books are available for a smoother read and continuation of the storyline without feeling the impact of repetition. Otherwise, nice twists and looks into Warner’s capabilities. The performance appreciation surely depends on the individual. I have found them lacking from the first listen. I do prefer to do the reading and will likely return to the written story. I look forward to finding this series in a few years finished and remembering wanting to finish while I likely will have a whole series to revisit. Enjoy all.

Enticing

The narration was excellent, one of the best for a standard audiobook. My favorite by far. The story was beautifully written, and I was enthralled the entire time. I was gasping, pleading, genuinely gobsmacked by the end of it all!
