The history of the Atomic Bomb in World War II

The history of the Atomic Bomb in World War II, this book details the development and use of the atomic bomb during WWII and Robert Oppenheimer's role as its visionary leader.

The book explores the moral and scientific dilemma of deeploying such weapons, as well as the technological challenges of the Manhattan project in developing and producing the weapons, as well as a section on the Hiroshima & Nagasaki bombings, the aftermath, and the legacy of the dawn of the nuclear age into the cold war and beyond.

The narrator does a good job, and is easy to understand, altough perhaps speaking a bit to slow, making a speed-up option good. (For me a 1.3x speed is perfect).
