My favorite couple so far

Tracy Lorraine is a favorite author of mine. Her stories have so much heart. Toby has been the nicest one of the bunch, but he has his demons. Jodie was blindsided by life. Those two had an epic romance! Definitely my favorite couple so far. So much pain to get to the HEA. They endured. These are worth a relisten!

Again, James Joseph and Stella Hunter give us a perfect performance. They bring this audiobook to life with so much emotion in their performances. Love these two narrators.

Intense

Great addition to the series. Alpha male with super sweet side. Yumo! Plus a great continuation of plot. Super sexy too.

My previous reviews hold true regarding the great writing, story, and character development.

I’ll mention here what could be improved to raise the ratings of this and some of the other books in this series:

1. Inconsistent volume makes it difficult to hear female narrator when voicing Stella.

2. The excessive inner dialogue about how amazing it is to be part of the group who would do anything for each other - to the point it interrupts the progression of the story. It makes sense to have a character ponder this a couple times, but after the fifth or so time you want to start skipping ahead.

I adore Tobias

Tobias and Jodi’s story was such a rollercoaster. Toby is so broken and Jodi becomes broken. They break each other but also mend one another. I loved the revenge/rejection aspect. I found the rest of the book to be more of an emotional mental dive. The other stories had more action to them, but I enjoy that each couple has their own element but still focus somewhere in the enemies to
Lovers and bully trope. I also loved how kinky Toby was seeing as he was the “quiet” one. He and Nico’s friendship is amazing and I love Nico for it. He is such a goof but so amazingly loyal to his brothers and more so to Toby. I really look forward to getting into Callie and I am assuming Damon’s story. James and Stella just can’t gush about them much more than I already have. They are just the most talented passionate amazing narrators. I love this series so much!
