This book cracked me wide open

As a former HR director and Director of a Nonprofit I recommend this book to all those looking to grow in their leadership and self. As the now CEO of only me I recommend this book to all who are looking to open their heart and get on the pathless path they were meant for. I can’t recommend this one enough. I will be listening to it again.

A Must Listen...

If you’re a startup founder or ambitious person do yourself a favor and get this book now. Ambition can be a heavy load to carry and Jerry’s love, generosity and experience can help lighten your load. This book has helped me think more deeply about my life and uncover the obstacles I’ve placed in my way. There are tons of self-help books out there and I hesitate to call this one bc it’s not filled with false directions of how to live your life. Instead, it gives you questions and a helpful way to think about your life so you can discover YOUR OWN PATH. I’d also highly recommend his podcast Reboot.

I've sometimes struggled with Jerry's podcasts, but he (we?) seemed to have grown up a lot in this book. Weaving his past and present with those of his clients to resolve and restore real-world breakdowns makes this book unforgettable. No theory, no BS. If you don't break and weep at some point, listen again.

The Path of our Lives

I loved how the author touched upon his life story to give us learnings. I loved the part where he mentioned “midwife the worrier to emerge” this is exactly what a coach dose rebirthing a new you and as a coach you your self are rebirth.
I related very much to the story it touched me so much I cried.
Simple yet powerful. I will surly recommend it to my clients.

The future of real leadership

Alternative title - ‘making profitability sustainable and fun again’

We’re doomed to repeat our trauma in every area of our lives until it’s resolved and accepted. JC offers a great rendition of his journey to resolution, self knowledge and acceptance and how it could change the society we live in if business leaders have the strength to go places we all fear both emotionally and mentally.

For me the readers voice gave me the feeling he was about to cry at any moment so I put playback speed. on 1.5 X and my fear-of-crying trigger subsided considerably.
Well worth the read!
