The character"s development!

I enjoyed the book from beginning to end! The narrator does a great job and I think the author is quite talented! I recommend it for everyone who is interested in this genre!♡

Mostly a good read

The only issue I had is there was sometimes a bit too much instances where the MC gets injured yet unbelievable still continues on mission. In a car wreck, then shot, stabbed and the bit by a rattlesnake AND a dog?? That’s a little too much to happen to him in one night while trying to save someone.

Stupidity and extreme illegal activities where he could have killed an innocent child and woman

I will not read the rest of this book. If Barney had definitely been alone then I would have taken the first shot. When fled, Cole Maddox should not have reengaged. Let him think the traffickers are after him.
Again, I have stopped reading this book and will not bother with the third book.
