For honest review. Deputy fionia has a daughter caity while looking for William reed and James McKinnon the McKinnon sons come home to help find their father. Duncan also finds out that his best friend has a secret. Awesome story

Great Read

It's a great story of friendship turning to love. With a. bumpy road along the way. It kept me on the edge of my seat waiting for the other show to drop.

So Enjoyable!

I really enjoyed this wonderful book. Duncan and Fiona's story delivers an engaging and entertaining blend of emotions, drama, humor, danger, mystery, action, suspense and excitement. I loved the evolution of the relationship between this couple. From friends to lovers to more? I was hooked and invested every step of the way. Toss a surprise into the mix and this book will have you all to eager to find out what happens next as this pair's story unfolds. This is book two in this series and although there is an ongoing mystery that is unfolding throughout it, I feel that this book could be enjoyed as a standalone fairly easily. I liked the narrator's voice and felt it worked well with this book.

Good addition to the series

I had read the book and have to say, that I enjoyed it more the second time around. For me, audiobooks bring the stories to life.
We are back in Eagle Rock, Montana with the McKinnon family still searching for the patriarch of the family while dealing with other family surprises.
Army Ranger Duncan McKinnon hasn’t been back in town for 15 months , during which time he was injured in a mission. Fifteen months ago he slept with his best friend Fiona, who is now a deputy and a beautiful woman. Little did he know that a child was conceived.
But when danger comes to Fiona’s door, Duncan comes to their rescue and face to face with his baby girl.
Amidst the danger, feelings grow but will they survive to find their HEA .
Another entertaining story in the series filled with suspense, family and romance.
The narrator, Gregory Salinas manages to give the listener perfect voices for the various characters.

Ranger’s Baby is book 2 in the Iron Horse Legacy series by Elle James and while the story is a standalone is has an inner twining story that continues as a cliffhanger...

Duncan McKinnon, Army Ranger, hurt on his last deployment has come home to recuperate and to help his brothers find their still missing father. What he doesn’t expect is to see Fiona Guthrie his best friend from childhood and his one night fling before he deployed 15 months ago, who is now a deputy sheriff and the mother of a 6 month old baby girl named Caity.

Fiona knows its time to tell Duncan and his family that Caity is his daughter but she has been afraid that he will turn his back on them...but when her home is broken into and trashed who does she call but Duncan...

When you go from life long friends to lovers then add in a surprise you get a very engaging book filled with suspense, mystery, secrets, drama, heart felt emotions and a HEA!

Great read!

This was a great read! I really enjoyed it! I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed it. I loved the narrator that read this. They did a fantastic job. There was plenty of action and adventure along with intrigue as they were trying to figure out exactly who did what and how to prove it. There are two mysteries in this book and one gets solved while the other one does not. I really enjoyed the character development and the interactions between the characters. I greatly enjoyed it and am excited for the next book in the series.
