Pretty much unlistenable

It's hard to get to the content as the voice performance is mind boggling bad. I'm finally listening to it at 1.5 speed and she now sounds like an actual human being.

Very insightful

As a parent of a sensitive child I was looking for a resource to help them be more resilient. This book offered many strategies I can’t wait to use.

Raising an emotionally intelligent child is a stellar audiobook. Raising a child in the 21st century is complicated and we all know it yet this book uses amazing strategies. My favourite chapter is chapter 10 which really breaks down the parenting styles. This book gave me the know-how and knowledge that I was seeking. I appreciate the length and work that went into this book. Serene McLaren did a faboulous job. Add this one to your library today. Highly recommended!

A must read for parents with young children!

This is an excellent book especially for parents with young children to ensure that they grow up as responsible and happy individuals. The purpose is to learn the importance of a holistic strategy to ensure that your child is able to manage his/her emotions to deal with peer pressures, social media, and the ups and down of life. There are fun exercises and suggestions on how to coach your child so he/she is aware of the impacts of his/her decisions and choices in life.

The speed of the reader was bit annoying. It meant to be well articulated, but felt so slow that I had to speed it up to 1,2x to be comfortable listening to it.

Raise Happy and Healthy Kids

There were so many "A-ha" moments in this book. learning the CORRECT way to raise children is really eye-opening. My parents did some good things and some bad things, (like everyone they did their best) but it's great to hear the theory behind raising successful and happy kids! A+++
