Great For Beginners

What a great audiobook. I am moving to the country soon, and planning on having rainwater system. I have learned a lot that I didn't realize I needed to know. It has so much great and useful information from Chapter 2 that covers the laws and regulations by states.Chapers 5 and 6 has designing, construction and installation. Chapter 7 the author covers the 7 biggest mistake that are made. I love that you get a PDF so you can use as a reference. It's very easy to understand and follow. The narrator does a great job.

Great detail!

This is an excellently detailed book about rainwater harvesting. You will not regret purchasing this book. When I first started learning how to harvest rainwater, I was certainly confused about where to start, but I was annoyed with how other books glossed over important details, like DIY-considerations and the parts I would need to purchase. This book goes over that and more, without being too confusing or overwhelming.

There is a good section that goes over the regulations for each state too, so make sure you take that into account before harvesting your own rain!

Thorough and Informative

This audiobook covered everything you need to think about for rain water harvesting. I never thought about the legal requirements when i thought rain water harvesting. This book went into that. I like the cautions the author gives about things like mosquitoes in your water! It is a great step by step guide to help set up the waint water harvesting system that I will try out at my home in Jamaica. If you are looking for a comprehensive guide to help set up your system this book is your guide. The author also includes the PDF download of the book so you can reference points and go back to things as your build your system.

Very useful information Easy to digest!

I've been intrigued by the idea of harvesting rainwater. It made sense, but I didn't know where to start looking for info. Great audio and subject matter

Very intriguing and well done book. I received so much more info than expected. And the pdf is included! Why you need it, what to watch for, and how to design and install. Topped it off with 7 mistakes to watch out for. Phenomenal book.

I am looking to implement many of these ideas on my upcoming home front so it is great to have a guide that is so comprehensive to follow. Well done!

Good general overview!

I received this book to review and I was very pleasantly surprised with the amount of content that was valuable to me and my water harvesting goals. One of my favorite reference points was the laws/regulations chart by state. It was a great starting point to know I was getting the most out of my area. I loved that the author included traditional harvesting options (think rain gutters and rain barrels) and not so traditional (think agricultural changes and catch locations). Overall I would have enjoyed to have a little more intense information about designing systems and how they benefit not only the homestead but also the Earth. 4 out of 5 stars, if I were to have the chance I would be happy with this purchase for my reference library. Thank you!
