"""""SPOILER ALERT."""Only on chapter 3, and thinking about skipping ahead to when Cora stops being an idiot. She needs to grow up and stop playing the games she says hates for Marcus to do. Hope she gets her act together soon. Ghaaaa, chapter 18 and she is now on the verge of being my last favorite heroine EVER. Her mixed signals are killing me. About to skip to the epilogue and the HEA that Cora doesn't deserve. Can't believe I've waited so long to finally get this. I'm so disappointed. 5 hrs left for her to get her (Cora) sh*t together. But not sure if she can overcome her stupidity.

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 Epic Conclusion!

Wow, Stasia Black and Lee Savino takes their readers/listeners for ride with this action packed final book of their “A Dark Mafia Romance” Series. There are many twists and turns, secrets are reveals, plays are made to ruin Marcus and take over his empire. This books picks up two months after “Awakening” the second book ended, Cora had left Marcus and started her own event planning business. Marcus had given her the space she wanted but is getting impatient with her. She had her reasons to stay away, including having to come clean about what happened with AJ. A lot goes on in this book, in addition to Marcus is trying to get back with Cora he is trying to uncover what happened to his shipment and who is double crossing him. Cora wants more from him, to be including in his dealing but he wants to keep her out of it to protect her. This is one action packed story, it goes full circle by the end, which is epic and a new queen rises. Thank you, Stasia Black & Lee Savino for this great series, I hope there are plans for more stories to come from this world, possible a book or series for Sharo.

I listened to the Audible edition, Jack Calihan is a talented narrator and voice artist. He brings these characters to life and their story to life. He did a great job portraying each character, giving each their own voice and personality as well as heart and attitude. Jack Calihan is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧

Can she accept the mafia way of life?

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. I must admit that I still wanted to shake Cora at times when she displayed her immaturity and recklessness. When Charo tells her that she needs to grow up, Cora takes a honest look at herself and admits what really scares her. New develops in her life will cause her to either display the authority required of a mafia leader or die. Her life with Marcus is even in question now. Again Jack does a brilliant job of narration. He gives the characters distinctive voices, and he brings the story to life by portraying the emotions of these characters. He paints a vivid picture in the listener's mind. One just needs to sit back and enjoy the story. I highly recommend this Audible book and series.

Loved the finale to this trilogy.

I was a little perturbed after the 2nd book as our heroine hard headedly. refused to follow common sense instructions, and repeatedly put herself at risk. Finally in this installment she grew some brains and OWNED her mistakes and the life she could have with Marcus. Jack once again hit it out of the park with his narration, nothing to fault there. I'd live to see a 4th book giving Charo his happy ending

This is the third book in the series and it is just as good as the first two. True, she is a bit naive but I think she’s in shock and denial - understandable under the conditions. The narration was phenomenal!! I can’t believe I haven’t crossed his work before. I will definitely look for more performances by Jack Calihan. In sum, I listened to the series in a day and a half. Recommended all around!

I can't believe Cora and Marcus' story is ended! What an emotional rollercoaster of a ride! Absolutely loved this series. Stasia Black and Mee Savino sure know how to write a story!
Jack Calihan was amazing as usual. He has such a way with bringing all of the characters to life.

This is a fantastic mafia story, it is well written and well told. I enjoyed her writing style. Jack Calihan is awesome narrator. Highly recommend listening to this audiobook.

Love the books, the narrator? Not so much.

I’ve read the whole series, once or twice, okay, okay, maybe more than that! I enjoy the book, well written and engrossing. The audio book is a complete turn off. Mr. Calihan is way to dramatic, all the time. The deep & husky way of speaking would be sexy, during the sexy parts but it all the time. NDF
