Blew It Out Of The Water

Emigh Cannaday has outdone herself! I didn't think either series could could get better but boy was I WRONG!

The detail, intrigue, keep you on your toes and guessing action!

The steamy scene between Fallon and Annika (fanning myself over here)! So Much beautifully interwoven information and delights! Truly there's no end to what this author can write!

I don't know how to feel about this book

The central theme of this trilogy is undeniably love, yet I find myself utterly baffled by the complexity of Fallon’s emotions. He repeatedly professes his love for Novi, a character who embodies loyalty and devotion, yet he shockingly tells another woman that he would "burn" for her. Hearing this almost made me throw my phone across the room in disbelief! It was infuriating to witness his intense desire for the other woman, leaving me frustrated and bewildered.

Novi, on the other hand, remains steadfast in her faithfulness. She portrays the unconditional support of a loving partner rather than the chaos that typically accompanies infidelity. She acts with the grace and commitment that one would expect from a devoted spouse or “ concubine”, and seeing her treated this way is heart-wrenching.

Throughout the latter half of the book, Fallon attempts to delve into the concept of wanting “more,” wanting it “all,” and portrays a deeper understanding of the emotional turmoil that comes with it. Yet, despite these reflections, he is still “in love with Novi” leading to a compelling but contradictory narrative. This has left me grappling with my feelings about the story; I can’t reconcile Fallon’s professed feelings for Novi with his overwhelming lust for another's so-called “power.” The emotional conflict in this book is driving me to the edge! He supposedly lusts for her “power,” yet when he first saw her, he was so checking her out!

I hope there’s a 4th coming out!

I truly enjoyed the read and the speaker. This series really needs to continue but not past what’s manageable.

He redeemed himself

Yay. The ML redeemed himself and finally got a pair. lol. And I love how the author cleared up the heated kiss with Annika and his longing. It was never about love or even desires of the flesh though lust was a byproduct. It was about coveting power. He never betrayed the FML. And she was so trusting and so pragmatic and fierce. I love how their characters and their relationship grew. Great ending. Great series. Thank you.

Oh my goodness! This book ... THIS SERIES WAS AMAZING. My heart is still racing! The twists and turns! I almost stopped part way through I was so upset with what was happening but glad I stuck through to the end! GOLD STARS!
