I really like this book

The really only bad thing I have to say is it gets a little boring herting her powers and equipment listed over and over but I really like the story and I hope there’s more audio books on the way

Good, but has two major problems.

Alright so my over all non spoiler review is that this book/series is pretty good. Not the greatest or amazing or anything like that, but its good. Cool action, interesting characters for the most part, an intriguing over all plot, and a good balance of the silly and serious. If you like the LitRPG scene you could definitely do far worse.
Now for the problems. 1. Editing and proof reading. This author REALLY needs to invest in some GOOD editors and proof readers. I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but it is kind of annoying when characters descriptions, backstories, names or even their sexes can change from one book to another or even from chapter to chapter. Looking at you Miss/Mr Overseer 2.0. I've noticed this problem through this series and the Eternal Journey series. considering that he often forgets the basic static info of his characters, it is hard to believe that he is getting the 15 minute long character sheet info right as well. Though to be fair i usually just skip that part until the las entry.
2. Caitlin is pretty.... blah. One of the chef ways to deal with an OP character is to make them compelling and interesting. to give them mental struggles that they need to over come sense they can trance any actual threat. The author has not done this. Caitlin appears to be the answer to the question, "what if the stereotypical "Girl Character" was given god like powers?" She seems wholly unmotivated to really do much of anything and avoids any and all forms of responsibility. In two books she has only ever done what others have wanted to do and usually reluctantly at best. The only reason she seems to be the main character and not just Dan'el's somewhat childish romantic interest is do to random chance. Lol (if you read/listen to the book, that last bit is hilarious) As an aside to this, the romance portion of this series is.... well kind of lame. Kind of seventh grade level really. Pretty boring. Which sucks sense the author did it so well in the EJ series. I mean come on C.J! After actually giving me a "harem" i liked and respceted, this is your follow up? sigh
2.5. something i noticed throughout this series and the E.J. series. I think C.J. may be something of a casual conservative. Not one of the crazy radical ones, but he does seem to have certain views and only gives left leaning ideas the shallowest of interpretations. I get that the realms are a very harsh place, However i would argue that a lot of Earth's 'soft" ideology comes from thousands of years of extremely violent experience. just saying.
Any ways, as i said at the beginning it is not the greatest, buuut it is also far and away from the worst. With some work it could definitely hit my top 5. I will still continue getting all the books that this author puts out about the Realms.
