About the Creator

Ben H. Winters is the author of the novel Golden State, as well the New York Times best selling Underground Airlines, The Last Policeman and its two sequels, the horror novel Bedbugs, and several works for young readers. Among other recognitions, Winters’s books have received the Edgar Award for mystery writing, the Philip K. Dick award in science fiction, the Sidewise Award for alternate history, and France's Grand Prix de l'Imaginaire. Ben’s writing has appeared in Slate and in the New York Times Book Review. He also writes for film and television and was a producer on the FX show Legion. A film version of Bedbugs is currently in the works at MGM with a script by the mystery writer Sara Gran. Winters lives in Los Angeles with his wife, three children, dog, and fish.

John Zdrojeski is an actor and singer/songwriter based out of New York City. Off-Broadway: Heroes of the Fourth Turning (Playwrights Horizons, Special Citation Obie); Before We’re Gone (13th Street Theatre); Monster (Potomac Theatre Project). Regional: Romeo and Juliet (Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and Huntington Theatre Company); 10x10 (Barrington Stage Company); The Kite Runner (New Repertory Theatre). Film/ TV: Evil (upcoming), The Breakdown Parables (upcoming), Billions, The Code, Madam Secretary. His debut EP Primitive is available on all streaming services. This was a very clever story with twists and turns you did not expect. I think just about everyone would enjoy it. Very well done. The actors did an amazing job!

I’ve listened to this twice and both times I’ve been brought to tears and felt moved in a way that I very rarely ever feel for an audiobook! It was sooooo good! I wish there was more stuff from this author!

I wasn't holding high hopes for this but turned out to be better than anticipated. Nice little twists and turn I didn't see coming. Well written easy to follow story that deserves a listen. GIVE IT A TRY!
