I feel fully prepared for a new puppy!

I'll admit, I'm kind of scared of getting a new puppy. I've never been in charge of a baby before. lol. So, I got this book, and I feel way more more confident! I love the step-by-step help as well as the insights about why puppies do the things they do. Would recommend!!

Perfect Puppy Training !

I learned something here, i liked how you use a puppy pad that looks like grass,Never use a crate for punishment,Never push their face in the waste product. Feeding them and relieving them soon after. Do not give them coconut water. Basic commands is covered and which breed to pick?

Very useful tips, it's like a course

Many useful tips and information packed in under 90 minutes, it's almost like a training course for puppy training, you'll learn tips for when you bring your puppy home, and potty training tips. Great narration too.

Good refresher

My wife and I have always had dogs, but after we lose one as they get old and pass we take a break for a few years until we are ready to have a new family member. We begin to miss the welcome home we get and the general companionship. So whenever we get a new puppy we like to brush up on everything we need to know about having a new puppy. Even though we have always had dogs, It has usually been 12 -14 years since we have had a "puppy". And every dog is different. This book is laid out in an easy-to-understand manner that we appreciated. It's a good checklist for a first-time puppy owner or even people that have been without a fur baby for a few years. Puppies need to start out on the right foot if they are going to develop into the kind of companion you will enjoy having around for several years. This book covers everything you need to know to make sure you are starting out welcoming a new puppy in a way that will not only teach them what they need to know but teach the owners how to properly consider the puppy's needs as they grow. Excellent refresher for my family. Love the narrator's voice as well.

I feel prepared

I got my dog as a puppy 10 years ago and I remember potty training was a nightmare. I've been wanting to get a second dog but realized that I needed to find some resources for potty training and puppy training in general. This book presents a quite a few ideas that I had not thought of previously and even highlighted some of the things that I did incorrectly last time. Thank you Helen for helping me with this, as I feel more ready to assume ownership of my new puppy! So Excited!
