So great for kids!!

My nephew just got a puppy, and the family wants to make sure the puppy is trained well, but we wanted my sister's kid to develop a sense of responsibility for his puppy, and thought the best way to do it would be to have him train it! Found this audiobook, and it was the perfect choice. The content is laid out easily, and understandably for kids, and includes training strategies that are simple enough for kids to learn, and apply.

The narrator is easy to understand without being boring, and the content is arranged in a way that makes it easy for kids to understand

Good for the whole family

With a new-ish puppy in the house, everyone comes over (especially the younger ones) and just wants to play play play. That's great for me and the puppy, however, the pup never learns to respect any of these people. I listened to this audiobook with my nephew and while it's written for kids, it's really written for anyone to comprehend. I thought the book was great and we've already started practicing much of what we learned together. The narration was great as well!

A Helpful Guide for Kids!

My son has been asking for a puppy for a while, and the book comes in handy. It gives the puppy training guide helpfully; catering was my challenge. I am not particularly interested in the training to show the puppy, but he can begin and walk himself with the provided tips here in the audiobook for now.

A must have for families bringing a new dog home!

I really enjoyed this book. The author and narrator were spot on! I wish this audiobook was around when was raising my dog growing up. Every chapter covers essential information when it comes to raising a puppy for any family, and teaching younger kids in the household is very important. Chapters three through five covering commands, fun games, and tricks are my favorite, as I know from previous experience how rewarding it is to engage your dog in these activities daily. I also appreciate the author including the special gift "The five step challenge", and mentioning his Facebook community for continued engagement with other dog owners. I will recommend this book to all my friends who are puppy owners.
