A short, sweet story of redemption and love. A wonderful bite of Stoker fun with great background to more fuller enjoy the novels. Also great narration.

The continuation of protecting Fiona

The redemption of Julie Lytle who woke up one morning and didn’t like the person she was. Bye, happenstance, she meets the women of the seal team the rescued her. Her story is not as harrowing as Fiona, she their as long. After she made a plan for asking forgiveness - her indecisiveness got on my nerves. But, that’s just being human. An unusual love story.

Short and sweet

Glad you did a story on Julie. I cried for her as she explained to Hurt what she was feeling and thinking and how much she needed to say thanks and apologize for her behavior. It was apart of her healing process and I am happy for her and Hurt.

What happened to Julie?

This book picks up after Julie was rescued with Fiona by the Navy Seals. It was very interesting, well written, and with great narration. I recommend getting this story regarding Julie and Commander Hurt. It does add background for future stories.

I first saw Julie in Cookie & Fiona's story. She was awful! That led me to listen to this story, my curiosity getting the best of me. It led me well. The Julie I saw in this story was much changed. It is hard to believe that her conscience called her on it but apparently it did. She turns out to be a nice person. The immediate thing with the Commander is unbelievable. I would be interested in Senator White's reaction to the 15 year age difference.

Over all a good story line but rather difficult to totally buy into it all.

A horrible experience but it opened her eyes.

She'd grown up spoiled--easier to give her what she wanted than to parent her and spend time with her. When she was kidnapped by terrible men the SEAL team rescued them. If it had been her doing the rescuing she may have left herself behind. A wake-up call made her want to thank the men and apologize for her attitude and actions. Could she talk their leader into giving her the opportunity?

After speaking with him he decided to give her a chance, On one condition. What in the world? He knew what he wanted did she want the chance bad enough?

Getting her chance, and proving she's changed will cost her but she will get some support from the hot SEAL TEAM leader. Where will it lead?

I did read one of the previous books in the series, and I recommend you read them in order, however, this would have been good either way.

This was a quick visit with someone who appeared in an earlier book. it was sweet and wonderful. Good story.
