this is a great buy, I love the story and love the narrator. I'm a big fan of audio books and am very picky with who narrates, you will not be disappointed in this book!!

This was such a riveting book to listen to it had you on the edge of your seat ins rooting for the star crossed lovers to find a way to end up together. I can’t wait for the next book!

Loved it!

Lauren Fortgang did a wonderful job narrating this story! The story was interesting, entertaining, & intriguing. The characters captivating. The storyline kept my attention from beginning to end.

No cliffhanger.

So, this book started off a bit slow and i was really worried I would hate it. However as the story progressed, it got really good. I loved Eveleigh’s journey and the way she evolved throughout the story. There were lots of action, drama, love, hate, sarcasm and all the things that make for a great story. Sorry folk, no cliffhangers. Shout out to Lauren Fortgang who did a phenomenal job infusing life into the many characters. She is a a kick-ass narrator.

Excellent Book Two!!!!

I love it when a pre-order delivers!!!

I listened to the first book in this series and happily pre-ordered the second book. I did not want the story to end. This book was almost as good as the first!!

The erstwhile queen and her brood are officially in the Seven Spier castle/kingdom and things just keep happening, heavy is the crown and all that. This story was so friggin good!!!!!

The narration was exceptional! It's easy to set aside good narration when you have a good story but don't make the mistake with this listen. As good as this book is (and it is most excellent!) the narration and the narrator is on point. There was drama and tension and humor and royals and royalty and they all got the supreme treatment. Every feeling and every emotion from every character and every scene was delivered to perfection!!

Book three is not yet available but I will be first in line when it's ready!

Good Story

The narrator did a great job. I didn't like this book as much as book 1 as some parts of the story moved a bit slow for me. I did enjoy the ending as it made me very happy. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
