Levi Walsh is on active duty as a major in the United States Army, while his teen-aged daughter, Becca, is living three hours away in central Florida under the care of her grandfather, Ray, a disabled veteran and devoted prepper. When a massive EMP attack shuts down much of the United States, the Walsh family is ripped apart, separated by hundreds of miles that seem like much more in a world gone mad, with communications and transportation paralyzed. This is my first read with this author. I liked his style, the story line, and the characters. I will look for more books by this author.
