Fresh prespective

I'd recommend Crash Course first, to set the context. This was fairly heavily focused on establishing a homestead-style life, although by no means exclusively. There is also a strong coaching framework theme running throughout..and it maybe a little light on statistics, but all in all a very useful resource in preparing for future societal and economic turbulence.

A clear message

A rational, clear headed look at our changing times. Martenson's analysis of where we are and the probable progression of the economy is clear, concise and backed with solid, verifiable numbers.

This is a relationship building book about community, family, and love and care to resources.

Great Content But More Concrete Answers Needed

This one of the few Crash prediction books that actually has some sense of optimism containing within.

The authors to a great job of explaining the forces that shape humanity's fate going forward. Although the outlook is bleak, the authors propose that, I'd individuals begin now to place their lives in order, they will be better ready to weather the long term struggles ahead.

However, if the reader really wants concrete answers on what to do, this book does not go into deep content. Rather, one will need to look to the authors' website and community therein to find more specifics.

Where does Prosper! rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I have read several books pertaining this subject matter. Very few of them are as filled with information that can aid you in preparing for and navigating through the changes that may lie ahead. I hope to never be surprised by things I did not have an opportunity to prepare for. This book helps you make preparations for the best possible outcomes regardless of what happens. I am on my second time through the book and still gleaning additional insights. Repetition is how we learn.

What did you like best about this story?

Prosper! forecasts a potential for a problematic future but does not dwell on it. It offers solid ideas on how you can build for a great future regardless of how the future presents itself.

What does Chris Martenson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Genuine caring for giving you useful tools to build with.

A great cerebral investment. I think the payback will be exponential though things exponential are not shown in the most positive light in the book, I think exponential payback is a good thing. In fact it may be a way to Prosper!

great information

this is a great book to give you for sight into the future and is not too Doom and Gloom prepper in a bunker type of book. it gives you realistic forecast of the next declining 20 years and what to do about it. not just to survive but to thrive as a community and not some lone wolf up on a mountain somewhere.

Eye opening

Loved it, such great info regarding what is really happening not the fake news that is out there for you to follow and think the way an org wants you to think.
