Short

While the series started out good and continues good, it’s short and to in depth on the gory descriptions. Wouldn’t mind them if the story evolved more. Feel half the 3 hour tale is the ‘every detail’ of the gore. The zombie blown up brains are icky and bloody...got it.... Hope the next in the series is longer as Dave and his bunch are great characters.

Quick, intense, zombie fun!

Proper (Book 2) by R. K. Gleason and narrated by Jeffrey Kafer is a short yet awesome listen. Once again, the story alternates between Pam/Dave (trying to survive) and Major Carolyn Brooks perspectives (mainly attempting to contain). If you like graphic, sometimes amusing described scenes (whether it’s the writing or Kafer’s narration- it works and works well), this is the book for you. Jeffrey Kafer, does a perfect job narrating this one. Oh yeah, decent amount of swearing.

My Favorite By Far

Just when I think they're going to get away. R.K. Gleason hits you with one of the most graphic descriptions of being shot I've read yet. This one will keep you on the edge from beginning to end.

Couple of the Year

Another one! Well done! Dave and Pam are the best husband and wife ever. I love them and their kids. They are so down to earth and relatable, I just love it.

Proper takes place immediately after Uppercase. Each word draws you in. RK did a wonderful job painting a picture with his words. I was able to imagine myself being right there. Truly amazing. I can't wait to start Mean.

I freaking love this series!

You have no idea how bad I want to drop the F bomb while writing this review. RK seems to really bring it out in me, haha! This story is what happens when the situation goes from UPPERCASE to PROPER. This is super intense from beginning to end and it wasn’t until the end that I could finally take a deep breathe.

Dave and Pam are still working on getting the family together and back on the road but they are in the thick of it when the mail woman tries to eat Dave! Gah! Soooooo intense! But a little spoiler, Dave makes it and the mailwoman doesn’t….Ha!

Major Brooks has her troops on the ground and going into the area to “contain” the virus. Little do they know the zombies are evolving a bit and have laid a trap. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the zombies are here and getting smarter!

The author continues to surprise me in each book, whether it's something off color or off the wall, it's the things that make me stop and try and figure what the hell it is that I just heard. It's part of what I love about this series. These are sarastic people in a blended family that aren't afraid of speaking their mind. The narrator does a fantastic job in conveying all of the crazy feelings and emotions that are portrayed throughout the story. Bravo!

this book had me pulling my hair out screaming

all I could do is scream at how dumb these people are. its mind blowing they were not killed in the first 2 minutes of leaving there house. iv never been so angry as I was listening to these people's flight from an apocalyptic world
