Grief

The way grief was portrayed made me feel better about my own. Having lost my mother a year ago, chapters 39&40 extremely hit home.

Savannah Peachwood & Sean Masters did absolutely amazing in this duet.
For both these characters, I think that the voices fit well and were performed great!

Drake is just the kind of over possessive, alpha boss that I love to listen to! And I love Amelia’s character. She was strong in the right places and I loved that she brought out her inner Scarlett!

Enjoyable

I really liked the story but was not entirely into the female narrator, she made the character so weak sounding that it took away from the story for me. However I do like Kincaid’s writing.

Promise me forever

Drake and Amelia meet as strangers at a society wedding. Both just want to forget their obligations and have fun for the night with someone they never expected to see again. Of all the people in New York they end up back together again just a few days later. Drake is a high powered attorney heading up a law firm with his brother and Amelia moved back home to take care of her mother and gets hired to work at James and James. The tension between these two is amazing and I can not wait to see what happens next as we continue on into the James brothers.

I couldn't stop listening to this book. The banter between them was funny. I liked the love story between them.
