Grief

The way grief was portrayed made me feel better about my own. Having lost my mother a year ago, chapters 39&40 extremely hit home.

Savannah Peachwood & Sean Masters did absolutely amazing in this duet.
For both these characters, I think that the voices fit well and were performed great!

Drake is just the kind of over possessive, alpha boss that I love to listen to! And I love Amelia’s character. She was strong in the right places and I loved that she brought out her inner Scarlett!

Enjoyable

I really liked the story but was not entirely into the female narrator, she made the character so weak sounding that it took away from the story for me. However I do like Kincaid’s writing.

Promise me forever

Drake and Amelia meet as strangers at a society wedding. Both just want to forget their obligations and have fun for the night with someone they never expected to see again. Of all the people in New York they end up back together again just a few days later. Drake is a high powered attorney heading up a law firm with his brother and Amelia moved back home to take care of her mother and gets hired to work at James and James. The tension between these two is amazing and I can not wait to see what happens next as we continue on into the James brothers.

Sadie had me hooked with the first book of the series, and I couldn't wait for this one to come out. The James brothers are so intriguing.

This story is a workplace romance with so much tension. The chemistry between Amelia and Darke is off the charts. You can't deny they have something between them.
Drake is a workaholic and doesn't have time for much else. He is an alpha and likes control. There is just something about him that is so appealing.
Amelia is working and taking care of her mom. She doesn't ever think she will come face to face with the man that she spent a night with.
Amelia is sweet, and I liked that she was so independent.

This audio was wonderful, and I loved the entire thing. From start to finish, I was invested.
Sean Masters is a narrator that I have listened to a few times, and with his performance as Drake James, he has been added to my favorites list. I loved his smooth tone and the way he could give off the alpha vibe in his voice.
Savannah Peachwood has a beautiful voice that I always love to listen to. She can capture the moments in her voice so perfectly that you feel what the characters go through.
She is one of the best and is always a joy to listen to!

I love all of Sadies books and audiobooks.
this has been one I've been dying for.
inread it first, and it was exactly how I imagined his voice. Amelia's narrator was so sweet and perfect for her role. I loved it all.

I can’t get enough of Drake!!!

I loved everything!!!! Amelia and Drake are too freaking sexy!! The tension at the beginning was a hot mix of irritation and longing. I NEED MORE!!!

I would have given this 5 stars if a different female narrator had narrated the story. In fact, the sound of her voice was that of an over-exaggerated 13 year old girl throughout the whole story and that for me took away from the book itself. Personally, i think Sean Masters’ voice could melt the underwear off of Satan himself and I could listen to him read a phone book. I just wish they would have gotten someone else to narrate the FMC.

Drake and Amelia are fire

Drake James, line his Brother Nathan, kind of an Alpha hole...but both in a good way. Drake is a troubled soul but finds something he needed in Amelia and Amelia something in Drake...a home, trust, LOVE, SECURITY. You'll love this as much as I did...I PROMISE😏
