We are each of us more than the sum total of our experiences. The people and events that helped shape us inform our resolve to do better and enhance the strength of our tenacity.

Prayers AC is about transformation, yours and mine, and offers simple, powerful practices for living a life of purpose. To live in harmony with life, first we gratefully connect with our wholeness, affirming all the ways we already live in answered prayer, and then we listen for life’s response. Practicing affirmative prayer as a form of active listening, we ensure that our prayers are always heard.

As a prayer practitioner and mindfulness facilitator, over the years I’ve come to trust that we do not have to believe the same to share a faith in life and to pray together, or to experience faith-based emotional healing. In this abridged version of my instructional memoir, I share some of my standing ovation acapella poetry, inviting reflection and higher perspective on hard times, before exploring styles of prayer I’ve prayed.
