Pretty decent book
What made the experience of listening to Powerful Powerful You the most enjoyable?
I can relate to a lot that was mentioned in the book in particular how we are in childhood. I would recommend this book to others. A little longer than I expected but this good.

Where does Powerful Powerful You rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Before my husband and I listened to the Audible version, we wondered: "What could the author have to say that would take seven hours to explain (that we hadn't heard before)?" We found out that we learned "A lot of new ideas!" Better yet, we found that we could easily (and quickly) apply the author's ideas to improve our lives."
We started listening to the audible tape at 8:00 pm. Before we knew it -it was 1:15 am! With such meaningful content conveyed from the silky-smooth narrator, the time flew! Joe Vulgamore deserves the title of "Life's Head Coach". He has already helped us change our lives (and it's only been days)! Primarily he's helped us learn how to manage our thoughts and emotions. Here are some of Joe's teaching points that we've applied, and we have achieved immediate results.
1) Upon awakening, we analyze our "first thought" to see if it's positive. If yes, we just continue moving forward. If negative, we stop and then form a "neutral idea" before actively transitioning into positive thinking".
2) He reminded us that if we expect a person to be difficult, of course, they will be (self-fulfilling prophesy).
3) Complaining "thoughts" - whether silently expressed or spoken aloud, bring poor results; when we complain "out loud" it amplifies our negative thoughts because we are listening as well.
Truly, the ideas are easy to follow - since we've achieved results in less than days time! Since we are senior citizens, we are grateful that this book brought us fast results in just days -not years!
